Consulting Built Around What Matters
Khon Weave was founded on the idea that consulting should produce something usable — not reports that sit in a drawer.

How Khon Weave Came to Be
Khon Weave emerged from a straightforward frustration: too many consulting engagements produced dense slide decks with recommendations that no one could act on. The founders — practitioners with backgrounds in operational management and corporate development — set out to build something more grounded.
The name draws loosely on the Thai tradition of weaving, which requires patience, precision, and an understanding of how individual threads interact. The same logic applies to organisations: understanding how different parts connect — costs, relationships, governance — is often more valuable than optimising any single piece in isolation.
The firm opened its doors in Bangkok in 2019, working initially with mid-sized Thai family enterprises navigating succession questions. Over time, the engagement offering expanded to include operational cost analysis and partnership ecosystem work, reflecting the recurring needs we encountered.
We remain deliberately small. At any given time, we carry a limited number of active engagements — because that is the only way to provide the quality of attention each client deserves.
Our Mission
To help Thai and Thailand-based organisations gain genuine clarity on the operational, relational, and governance questions that matter most — through structured analysis, honest interpretation, and deliverables that can be used independently after we leave.
Core Values
Intellectual honesty
We share what we find, even when findings are uncomfortable.
Relational discretion
Particularly in family enterprise work, we treat internal matters with care.
Scoped commitment
We define what we will do, and we do it — without scope drift or inflated deliverables.
Practical output
Everything we produce should be readable and actionable by your team, not just by consultants.

How We Work
Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Mutual NDA as Default
Every engagement begins with a signed non-disclosure agreement covering both parties. Confidentiality is not an add-on — it is standard practice.
Defined Scope Documents
Before work begins, we provide a written scope summary that specifies deliverables, timeline, and what falls outside the engagement — preventing ambiguity on both sides.
Data Handling Protocols
Client data is stored on encrypted systems, shared only with team members directly involved in the engagement, and deleted or returned after the closing session.
Facilitation Standards
For engagements involving multiple stakeholders — particularly family councils — we follow structured facilitation protocols that protect all participants and maintain session neutrality.
Thai Law Compliance
All engagements operate within Thai commercial law. Our contracts are clear, jargon-free, and reviewed by legal counsel familiar with Thai business practice.
Progress Check-Ins
For engagements longer than three weeks, we schedule a mid-point check-in so you can raise concerns, adjust focus, or clarify expectations before the final deliverable.
Business Consulting in Bangkok: A Different Way of Working
Bangkok's business landscape is layered — family-founded enterprises, regional subsidiaries, and local SMEs each face distinct challenges around cost management, relationship capital, and organisational continuity. Khon Weave's work sits at the intersection of these concerns, offering consulting that is specific rather than general.
Operational cost work in Thai organisations frequently reveals patterns tied to longstanding vendor relationships, informal internal cost allocations, or structural decisions made during earlier growth phases that have never been revisited. Our cost structure review process is designed to surface these patterns without judgment — and to suggest rebalancing options that your team can weigh against broader priorities.
Partnership and vendor ecosystems in Thailand often carry relational history that shapes how agreements function in practice, not just on paper. Mapping these ecosystems provides a clearer view of where genuine strategic value exists, where relationships have become habitual rather than strategic, and where gaps are limiting growth.
Family business transitions remain one of the most sensitive and consequential challenges in Thai enterprise. The work requires equal attention to governance structure and interpersonal dynamics — which is why our approach prioritises both. The outcome is not just a document, but a process that helps family members reach shared understanding of what the transition involves.
